2012 Business Plan Competition

The William G. Rohrer Business Plan Competition is a competition to encourage students and recent alumni to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and develop high-growth businesses. The competition aims to educate and prepare students for future opportunities in entrepreneurship, and does so by providing a forum in which participants may present their ideas to win cash prizes to help with their business ventures.

The competition is divided into four main phases:

  • Phase 1: Submit Business Plan Intent to Compete Form (Deadline: Oct. 7th)
    • Workshops have been scheduled to help in developing the feasibility analsysis:
      • Feasibility Analysis Workshop #1
        • October 14th 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Bunce 321
      • Feasibilty Analysis Workshop #2
        • October 21st 12:00pm to 2:00pm, Bunce 321
  • Phase 2: Submit Feasibility Analysis to be screened (Deadline: Nov. 10)
    • Results will be announced Dec. 6.
  • Phase 3: Finalists will submit Business Plan (Deadline: Feb. 3)
  • Phase 4: Finalists will present their Business Plan and Concept to a panel of judges
    • (Date: April 14th)
